Memorandum of Understanding between Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and Cracow University of Technology, Kraków, Poland

The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India and Cracow University of Technology, Kraków, Poland signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 23/08/2018 to bolster cooperation between faculty and supporting staff on various fronts. The avenues along which this memorandum seeks to achieve this are the following:

  1. Visits by scholars and research students
  2. Exchange of information including, but not limited to, research publications of faculty members
  3. Joint research activities and joint supervision of research work
  4. Joint conferences and symposia on subjects of mutual interest

Before the initiation of any activity or programme, this memorandum requires either party to arrive at specific conditions via written or electronic correspondence at least three months prior. In the event of the memorandum lying dormant for more than three months, the agreement would be considered to have lapsed. Where active, both parties will renew the memorandum every five years. Termination of the memorandum may be conducted by mutual consent or by six months’ notice from either party.

Cracow University of Technology (CUT) has been training engineering staff for more than seventy years. Currently, Cracow University of Technology includes 29 majors of undergraduate and graduate programmes, which are conducted at 7 faculties of the university. The university educates 14.5 thousand full-time and part-time students of BSc and MSc, PhD and postgraduate studies. Our educational offer comprises 31 programmes of BSc and MSc studies in Polish at 7 faculties and 7 programmes of study in English at 5 faculties.
