Abstract:

The campus, by virtue of being contiguous with the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, has enviable biodiversity, which has enthralled and amazed discerning eyes over the years.  In 2009, the Environment Advisory Committee of IITB commissioned a study of the biodiversity of the campus. The study, led by Dr. Goldin Quadros of WWF (World Wildlife Fund), continues to be relevant to this day as the sole source of information on the flora and fauna of the campus.
