IIT Bombay celebrated its 45^th Convocation on Friday, 10^th August 2007.

This year the degree of Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) was conferred upon Prof. M.G.K.Menon.

In this Convocation, a total of 1483 Degrees were awarded :-

472 B.Tech, . 623 M.Tech, 13 Five yr. Int. M.Sc., 119 Two yr. M.Sc., 152 Ph.D., 15 M.Phil, 28 M.Des., 58 M.Mgmt. and 3 PGDIIT.

This year, the following students received the President of India Gold Medal, Institute Gold & Silver medals :-
