IIT Bombay signed a Memorandum of understanding with Central University of Finance & Economics, China on 04/08/2017. In order to promote co-operation the two institutions agree to encourage direct contact and mutually beneficial cooperation between their respective faculty, research institutes, departments and administrative staff.
The initial area of collaboration will be through :
Visit and exchange by faculty members and research scholars.
Joint research activities and joint supervision of research work.
Joint conference and symposia on subjects of mutual interest.
Exchange of information including, but not limited, research publications of faculty members.
Central University of Finance and Economics, formerly known as the Central Institute of Finance and Economics, is a university in Beijing, China. It is a Project 211 university which receives support from the Chinese central government. Central University of Finance and Economics has been regarded as the best finance and economics universities in China. In The Report of Chinese Universities and Courses evaluation (released by Research Center For China Science Evaluation), Central University of Finance and Economics was ranked No.1 among 66 finance and economics universities in mainland China.
