The Student Alumni Relations Cell, Dean ACR Office will be organising a two day meetup of alumni and students at IIT Bombay on the 7th and 8th of October. Alumination is more of an experience than an event where the aim is to gather together and exchange ideas, share experiences and achieve a greater good.
Alumination is an opportunity for alumni to come back to the Institute and relive some old memories while helping the current students in their endeavours through the various events that are a part of it.
Here’s the lineup of events and how you as an alumnus/alumna can be a part of it:
Mock Interviews & Group Discussions: As the placement season is fast approaching for the students, this event wants to give them a boost in their preparations. This event uses the experience of alumni, to give pragmatic advice to students in a pseudo recruitment process. If you are willing to be a part of it, register here
Muskaan: Muskaan is the social initiative undertaken by SARC in association with an NGO Pankhudi to help the cause of providing education to children from financially or socially weaker sections. There will be full fledged support to the cause even after the two days of Alumination. Contact Vaishali Agrawal (8828495006), if you are interested to be a part in the cause.
Talks: There will be two talks on the two days of the weekend. One would be delivered by Mr Shailesh Gandhi, renowned RTI activist, who is an alumnus of IITB (Batch of ‘69, Civil Engineering). The second will be delivered by Mr Ashish Chauhan, MD & CEO, Bombay Stock Exchange, who is also an alumnus of IITB (Batch of ‘89, Mechanical Engineering).
