Memorandum of Understanding with Trustees of Indiana University (School of Public and Environmental Affairs)

IIT Bombay signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Trustees of Indiana University (School of Public and Environmental Affairs) on 15/01/2018 which is an agreement on faculty exchange between the institutes. In order to promote cooperation the two institutions agree to encourage direct contact and mutually beneficial cooperation between their respective faculty and research institutes through joint research project and collaborative activities in their respective topic of interest. 

Under this agreement, the partner institute is assumed to help with visa, appropriate documentations and accommodation. Host institute is also assumed to provide research privileges to the exchange participants equivalent to those provided to the resident faculty members. 

  • Both parties are open to explore other collaboration opportunities such as
  • Sharing academic material and other relevant information.
  • Development of joint research projects. 

The School of Public and Environmental Affairs is a nationally ranked academic institution located on the campus of Indiana University and home to a Masters of Public Affairs program that’s ranked number one in the USA. The institution is known for its outstanding faculty and unique programs. It was founded in the year 1972 with the aim of helping people solve complex problems at the crossroads of policy, management, and science. Students come to Indiana University from around the world and SPEA is no exception. Each year, more than 5,500 international students make IU Bloomington their home. With 1,700 students, SPEA is a friendly school within a large university.
