June 21st is celebrated worldwide as an International Day of Yoga (IDY). The Yogastha Wellness Club of IIT Bombay, has been organizing IDY since 2015. This year, a series of events including lectures, workshops, yoga research symposium, movie screening, practice session for the 'Yogathon' challenge and 'Common Yoga Protocol' have been planned.
As we transit from childhood to adulthood, we unknowingly, begin our transition being deep breathers into a shallow breather. The shallow breathing very conveniently takes away the ease of living even though we are surrounded by all kind of comfort around us, leaving us tensed and stiff. Only if we can breathe right can almost bid goodbye to the accumulated stress and lead a stress-free life.
