The Convocation Ceremony in IIT-B marks the completion of the academic journey of students, but more importantly it is also an emotional occasion celebrating the conclusion of the emotional roller-coaster the institute life is. The conferred degrees and the graduating crowd is the embodiment of the contributions of the institute in strengthening the academia of the nation as well as a testimony to the relentless efforts the institute puts in towards achieving its vision.
The 56th convocation of IIT Bombay will be held on Saturday morning, the 11th August 2018, from 10:00 am, and the event will be graced by none other than the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi acting as the Chief Guest of the ceremony. His presence will be an inspiration to all, motivating the students to be a constructive element of the society through their expertise and skills that they acquired here.
