ProVachan is a series of informal sessions to be held over a span of 5 days (20th August - 24th August 2018) that sheds light on the various non-core sectors that final year students may work in. The sessions prove to be invaluable to the students as the speakers are alumni of the Institute who are candid and present an unbiased view of the sector they work in. These are highly interactive sessions culminating with a relevant case study providing insight into these fields.
The event will provide a comprehensive overview of the challenges encountered by the alumni as well as the opportunities available in different non-core sectors. This will assist the students to not only judge their options based on their interests but also to get a general idea of the pros and cons involved in leaving the core industries for the non-core.
