The Academy celebrated the graduation of 100 students in just 10 years of service.
The Indian-Australian research partnership IITB-Monash Research Academy celebrated its 100th graduate on 26th April 2019. The event was attended by the newly appointed Director, IIT Bombay, Prof. Subhasis Chaudhuri, the Deputy Director- Prof. A.K.Suresh, the Academy Professor-in-charge, Prof. Neela Nataraj, many other professors and numerous students from the Monash Academy. The first, as well as the 100th graduate, also attended the ceremony.
The dignitaries addressed the audience and applauded this feat achieved by the Monash Research Academy. They also showered gratitude on the academy staff and students and appreciated them for being so persistent and producing such exemplary results in just 10 years. As a special guest, Prof. Vikram Vishal, the academy’s first graduate, spoke about his journey as a student in the academy.
Having produced 100 Ph.D.s in just over 10 years, the academy holds its head high and hopes for many more to come.
