Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Alberta, Canada

IIT Bombay, on 31st January this year, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with University of Alberta, Canada, to establish a framework through which the parties can foster and develop a relationship between them through activities such as:

  1. Mobility of faculty and/ staff

  2. Mobility of graduate and/ undergraduate students

  3. Joint supervision of doctoral students

  4. Joint research activities and publications

  5. Participation in seminars and academic meetings

  6. Exchange of academic materials and other information

  7. Special short term academic programs

The University of Alberta is a public research university located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The University of Alberta has about 39,300 students, including 7,700 graduate students and 7,800 international students representing 151 countries. University professors have won more 3M Teaching Fellowships (Canada's top award for undergraduate teaching excellence) than any other Canadian university, 41 awards since 1986.
